Tanner Dance Academy is owned by three sisters who all share a passion and love for dance. The girls have all been dancing since their early ages and have grown up learning a wide variety of genres. From participating in competitions since they were 5 years old, to sitting multiple R.A.D ballet exams and C.S.T.D theatrical exams. The girls have an extensive knowledge on technique and safe practices for all genres. They have learnt from some of the most experienced and well trained teachers in Perth and are now excited to pass on their knowledge to the next generation of dancers.

Billie Tanner

Principal

With over 20 years of experience, Billie has grown up learning a variety of genres. She sat her C.S.T.D theatrical exams until the age of 13 and then moved into competing in some of Perths biggest competitions. Excelling in Acrobatics at an early age, she decided to turn her passion for acro into becoming a fully qualified acrobatic teacher. Billie holds an Advanced Diploma in Dance, an Acrobatics Arts qualification and is a trained Cheer coach for levels 1&2.


Nikki Tanner

Principal

Nikki started dancing at the age of 5 and has always had a passion for working with children. Sitting C.S.T.D theatrical and ballet exams as well as Tap Medal exams, she has a large understanding and high set of technical skills for all genres. Nikki also went on to participate in competitions all over Perth, before moving into teaching and working with children. For the past 7 years she has been teaching all ages focusing on jazz, tap and lyrical. She holds a Diploma in School aged care and her passion for working with children shows through in all classes.


Stevie Tanner

Principal

Stevie is the youngest of the three sisters and has been dancing since the age of 4. With 18 years of experience she has made a name for herself in the Perth competition scene. Growing up, Stevie excelled in all genres and sat her R.A.D Ballet exams through to Intermediate before going on to enter the professional dance world. She was selected to dance for the Perth Wildcats Basketball team as a Knight Corp dancer, dancing with the squad for 3 seasons. She then turned her focus back to teaching all genres and upholds a qualification in Acrobatic Arts.

Georgia Brocklebank

RAD RTS

Georgia started dancing at the age of 2 and quickly fell in love with the art form. Sitting many exams including ISTD modern and tap, ATOD jazz and contemporary and all RAD ballet exams up to Advanced 1. In 2019, Georgia graduated from Principal Academy of Dance with an Advanced Diploma in Performing Arts. In 2019 she also graduated from the Royal Academy of Dance gaining her Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies which has allowed her to become a registered teacher with the RAD. Georgia is an extremely passionate teacher who loves to see her students shine in their own unique ways.
